The Thing in the Moonlight Audio

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

I really can’t say why, but H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Thing in the Moonlight” story fragment is one of my favorite pieces he wrote, and its not even a full story!  In fact, I liked it enough to do a comic adaptation of it not long ago.

Well, it looks like Jesse Willis of SFFAudio, in the unending search for new audio, has found an audio reading of H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Thing in the Moonlight”.  You can find it linked there along with an audio version of “Dagon”.

SFFAudio, a great source for good audio, has a few links to Lovecraftian audio.

First, they have a reading of Despair, and another of “Herbert West: Reanimator”, both read by Marlo Dianne. You can find both here.

The second is a lecture by S.T. Joshi, entitled “Reflections on Lovecraft”. You can find this one here.

Decoder Ring Theater has another story out on mp3!  I love the work they do with “The Red Panda” and “Black Jack Justice”, so I’m excited about anything they create.  This latest one appears to be a space adventure, which should nicely round out the story sets they have.  Awesome!

Check it out and SFFAudio.com!
