Today is the anniversary of D-Day. Remember that war is not the romantic thing it is often made out to be. But also remember those who have fallen to make the world a better place. Read about the day at Wikipedia.
Postings are going to be a bit sparse for a while. Part of being in the Army Reserves is going away for two to three weeks a year for training. Well, that time has come, so I’ll be away for a bit. If I’m lucky, I’ll have access to the Intertubes while away. If not, then I’ll be back later in the month. For you few comic readers, not to worry, I’m actually done into July! Wow! Thats nuts! 
Illuminati Archives has up a fictional documentary, entitled “Experiment 17″. This dramatization is an account of a Nazi Experimentinvolving the Necronomicon and the powers of the Mythos. Its a fun view and was an award winner at the 2005 H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival.

Today in history, sixty-six years ago, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, was attacked by the Japanese with a fast, hard-hitting military raid on military targets. We were basically caught with our pants down. That happens in war.
What else happens in war? People on both sides die. Usually a whole lot of young men who haven’t quite seen their best years, yet. Remember the men who fought valiantly and the mothers, wives, children, and loved ones who tried to carry on. War is hell.
I’m really feeling out of the loop for all things computer, H.P. Lovecraft, and real world right now. The army training is going well, and I’ve got some really good buddies here that I’ll miss when we leave, but I feel separated from life here. Which, really isn’t all that bad of a thing, really. Except when I do stuff like miss HPL’s birthday!

Well. I graduated from Phase I, and now its time for Phase II. This will be the more interesting side of the training. Where Phase I was more garrison Law & Order stuff, Phase II is combat oriented. Good stuff! More details will be posted later. For now, just know that I am still around, and have not done a single thing comic related, unfortunately.
I’m still here! Still doing the Army training thing. Yeay! Its pretty fun stuff, although a bit rushed. Here’s a picture of what I believe is a Luna Moth on the wall of the school building. My hand is in there for reference.
