Joe’s at training!

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

Postings are going to be a bit sparse for a while.  Part of being in the Army Reserves is going away for two to three weeks a year for training.  Well, that time has come, so I’ll be away for a bit.  If I’m lucky, I’ll have access to the Intertubes while away.  If not, then I’ll be back later in the month.  For you few comic readers, not to worry, I’m actually done into July!  Wow!  Thats nuts! :P

LostCarcosa.net returns from the dead…

Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

So I couldn’t stay away… LostCarcosa.net, though it never really left, is back in session. Though I am decidedly not religious in any conventional sense, there is much wisdom in the following phrase:

Grant to us the serenity of mind to accept that which cannot be changed; the courage to change that which can be changed, and the wisdom to know the one from the other.

Somewhere out there are people who deserve happiness, friendship, love, and maybe a helping hand. While I can not change a certain heart breaking situation of my own, I can continue trying to make the world a little better one person at a time.

Sorry for all the off topic postings. Back to the show! Starting with the trailer for “Masters of Horror: Haeckel’s Tale”

LostCarcosa.net on Hiatus

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

The human heart can only withstand so much pain. To have one’s heart broken, raised back up, and crushed again is one thing. To have to experience being told that you will never again see or talk to your child, even if not biologically your own, is tenfolds painful. To experience it twice is more unbearable than any person should have to deal with and my heart just can’t take it.

So with that, LostCarcosa.net is on hiatus until I can find the heart to continue on.

March 3rd is Tessa Memorial Day. Not a big day in the world, but a day of loss for me.

LostCarcosa.net Classic Horror T’s?

Friday, February 1st, 2008

I don’t know if any of you have noticed the poll to the right –>, but I’m considering the idea of selling some T-shirts based on my 2007 Halloween Classic Horror Movie Poster comics.

The design will probably just be the main character of the comic, or possibly the main character and the title. Probably on a black T with design on front. Just maybe with “LostCarcosa” on the back.

The three designs I have in consideration are “The Pharaoh Mummy”, “Vampire”, and “Rabbitstein”. If you have any ideas, sugesstions, or comments, feel free to let me know. If you think you’d purchase one (or not), please vote on the poll.

The Pharoah Mummy Vampire Rabbitstein

Would you buy a Halloween Comic T-Shirt?
