REC
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008
Fatally-Yours has a good review and a trailer up for Jaume Balagueró’s movie “REC” as well as the trailer for the Hollywood remake “Quarantine”. From the trailers, I have to say, that I’m actually pulled more by Balagueró’s lower cost original than Hollywood’s version. REC is the story of a a young reporter attached to a team of Fire Fighters to chronicle their day to day lives. Things go bad when the building they go into is suddenly quarantined by the government to contain whatever is making the people go extremely violent inside. The coolest sounding bit? No musical cues to give away the scary parts!

Busy busy post Christmas days
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007
For being the day after Christmas, with most of everyone out of the office, I’m really busy today. Servers are down, servers need rebooting servers need reinstalling, and I need a break. Since I can’t do that just yet, why don’t you take one for me and read Fatally-Yours’ review of “Santa’s Slay”. This weekend, I managed to watch “Silent Night, Deadly Night”, but this one sounds even more entertaining.

Review: Mulberry Street
Wednesday, November 21st, 2007Fatally-Yours has done up a review of this years “8 Films to Die For” film “Mulberry Street”, and this one sounds like it might actually be good. After reading the movie synopsises (synopsi?), and reading user reviews online, I opted out of seeing any of the “8 Films to Die For” films IN the theaters, instead deciding to wait for them to come out for rental. It seems one of them is actually worth going to!
It’s just another ordinary New York day on Mulberry St. until-
Rats begin biting people. And there are adverse effects…that no one expected. Rat Zombies, there I said it.
Now, I could try to explain more, but to do so would ruin the relative surprise of the movie. A part of me hopes that you’ll read the words ‘Rat Zombie’ and scoff and how stupid it sounds. By all means, laugh all you want…it’ll make the frights all the more effective…
Head to Fatally-Yours for more details, some goods and bads, and some fun.
