We had gone to the Isabella Gardner Museum in Boston, and seriously, about 90% of the items didn’t have a label plaque or anything. And the guards were all over Tiffany when her coat would swing within inches of the furniture. Furniture that looked worse than the ones at the thrift shop by my apartment. Don’t even ask about the response when Tiffany pushed aside some drapes to look out the window… There were no signs anywhere telling you not to touch anything, but apparently there should have been. I was afraid to touch the things we were allowed to touch.
