Penny Arcade’s Lovecraftian steampunk comic RPG game “On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: episode 1″ is being followed up by part 2 in Fall of 2008! I still have to check out Episode one, which may require me to buy a 120GB drive for my XBOX 360, as mine is completely full right now… Curse you small capacity 20GB drive!

I hope you all like the new theme. It’s still a work in progress…
After having had my server break on me, causing me to finally make that server switch to a cheaper service, I decided to use it as an opportunity to upgrade from an ancient version of Wordpress to a current version… Yeah… Smart move buddy. It broke my theme, like “Error 500″ broke it. So Saturday was spent with pencil, pen, scanner, and Photoshop, along with SSH, notepad, and vi, trying to get a theme that was more suitable, up and running.
I know its completely in need of something more to it. Its still a bit plain looking, although not bad I must say for having once been the default Wordpress theme. It needs more little artworks, and buttons. If you all have some suggestions, I’ve love to hear it. Its been a bit of work to get this where it is, but it’s still feeling lacking from the old theme. So comment away! Let me know what you like/dislike!
BoingBoing has news of an artist who has come up with a great plan. Great for us… and possibly the death of the artist. Mouse has decided to create a steampunk wallpaper everyday for a year! Of course Mouse would appreciate it if you could help this project along by submitting ideas for new wallpapers. You can read a little more, and find a link to Mouse’s site (and the pretty wallpapers) at BoingBoing.
One thing I like is the combining of two things that I like. Two of those things are Steampunk and classic pinups. Brass Goggles has come across some really neat Steampunk pinups from Suzanne Rachael Forbes.

Check them out, and find the linkage, at Brass Goggles.
Brass Goggles, one of the premiere sites for all things steampunk, has a link to a superb French steampunk artist by the name of Sam Van Olffen. Head to Brass Goggles for a peak and a link to Ollfen’s site.
According to BoingBoing, this week’s Boston Phoenix has a nice article on steampunk! Now I’m going to have to try and find a copy!
Check out BoingBoing’s article, then follow their link to the extra long Phoenix article!
