Halloween Adventure & Cover Art Contest

Chaosium is now accepting submissions for the fourth Halloween Horrors Monograph.

Each entry must be an original BRP adventure between 6,000 - 10,000 words. Text files or word documents only. Don’t submit PDF’s, quark files, etc. Don’t worry, 6,000 words is much shorter than it sounds!

Entries must be turned in before October 1st, 2008.

If you think you’re a good writer, or a good artist, then why don’t you head over to Chaosium and take a look.

Penny Arcade’s Lovecraftian steampunk comic RPG game “On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: episode 1″ is being followed up by part 2 in Fall of 2008!  I still have to check out Episode one, which may require me to buy a 120GB drive for my XBOX 360, as mine is completely full right now… Curse you small capacity 20GB drive!

Spore looks like its going to be an awesome game.  Or at least the creature creator is going to be at least 2 hours of awesome fun, before getting bored.  I hope for option number 1.  So whats the first thing some fans do with the creator?  Well, once the urge to create living penii is over, they create Spore Cthulhu!

At the Rain-Slick Precipice of DarknessWhat could be more awesome than comic books, pulp horror, H.P. Lovecraft, or video games?  How about all of these rolled up into one Penny Arcade game?  Penny Arcade’s “On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness” has gone gold, which means we’re oh so much closer to playing the game ourselves!  The game will be available for download for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, and the XBOX 360 all for about $20 each.

Grim Reviews has more words and links on the subject.  Me?  I’ve been busy busy busy.  One wouldn’t think I could get busier, but it happens.  One more book down, and many reviews need to be made.  Maybe I’ll read the Cthulhu Wiki instead.
