Review: HPL’s The Tomb
Apparently, “The Tomb” was not a good movie. At least thats what Steve from Reel Advice is telling us. From the sounds of it, I’d avoid the temptation of renting it to make your own opinion of it. I think I’m happy with his.
Reading Steve’s synopsis of the plot, and from what I can find out there, I wonder how they can even legally append “H.P. Lovecraft’s” to the title, as it doesn’t even sound like it comes close to the story. Except for the physical presence of a tomb, nothing else sounds remotely similar.
Maybe I can put together a movie about zombies from Venus that feed on the human Pancreas, and all live in an old house. Then I can call it “H.P. Lovecraft’s The Shunned House”…
