Post-Halloween Halloween Lovecraft!

Papers Falling from an Attic Window has a great post about a dream Lovecraft had Halloween night in 1927, in which he was a Roman administrator in the Spanish town of Pompelo.  The dream is story chock full of horror and insanity in the town that would become famous for the Running of the Bulls.

Then with utter and horrifying suddenness we heard a frightful sound from below. It was from the tethered horses - they had screamed, not neighed, but screamed…
