The Strange Sound of Cthulhu book signing
Phoenix Traders is hosting a book signing on Dec 6 for “The Strange Sound of Cthulhu - Music Inspired by the Writings of H.P. Lovecraft” by Gary Hill. The signing will take place in Phoenix Trader’s new Wicca and New Age reading room, Sacred Moon, in Rockford, IL.
I have no clue if the book is any good, but if you happen to be in the area on the 6th, maybe you can go check it out. And by the way, if you want to see some hard core 1990’s style web action, go check out the Phoenix Trader’s MySpace page linked in the article. At least they’re not using the Blink command! ![]()

Thanks for posting this. The myspace profile for the book http://www.myspace.com/strangesoundofcthulhu has a lot of excerpts from the book - I’m working my way through all the chapters - and also some reviews and interviews I did are linked there. You can also see excerpts from the interviews here http://www.musicstreetjournal.com/cthulhubook.htm .
Again, thanks for putting this up here.

Welcome Gary! I’ll be sure to check out those excerpts. I’m a sucker for anything having to do with Lovecraft.

Today I posted parts of the index, which show what artists are covered and how many pages are devoted to them. If you like Lovecraft, you should really enjoy the book. S. T. Joshi very much likes it - that should say quite a bit.
